𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐇𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐁𝐏𝐒, 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 The two-day INDRAPRASTHA 2026 - the 5th edition of the Inter-School Commerce and Business Conference hosted by Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi, concluded on 4 November 2026, celebrating students’ entrepreneurial spirit, financial insight and innovative thinking. Following an ice-breaking session, the second day featured Bidding, IMF and Hatch-Pitch. Bidding challenged participants to assess value, allocate resources judiciously and take calculated risks. IMF encouraged students to examine global economic challenges and formulate reasoned proposals through discussion and negotiation. Hatch-Pitch offered a platform to present entrepreneurial ideas, address real-world needs and demonstrate the feasibility of proposed ventures. Building on the opening day’s Business Bazaar, IMF and Bulls and Bear, these activities connected classroom learning with practical situations, strengthening analytical thinking, persuasive communication, teamwork and decision-making. In Bidding, Vivekanand Vidya Mandir secured first position, followed by DPS Ranchi in second position and Nirja Sahay DAV Public School in third position. In IMF, Sarala Birla Public School earned the distinction of Best Delegate, while Bridgeford Public School received High Recommendation and Surendranath Centenary School received Special Mention. In Hatch-Pitch, Surendranath Centenary School team 1 secured first position, followed by Cambrian Public School in second position. Nirja Sahay DAV Public School and Surendranath Centenary School team 2 jointly secured third position. Nirja Sahay DAV Public School emerged as the Overall Champion. The closing ceremony included a prize distribution recognising outstanding performances. A vote of thanks acknowledged the contributions of participating schools, accompanying teachers and the organising team. Principal Ms. Manisha Sharma emphasised that the conference’s lasting value lay in encouraging students to examine evidence, respect differing viewpoints and take responsibility for their decisions. She urged them to pursue innovation that addressed genuine needs and combine financial ambition with integrity, sound judgement and a commitment to creating value for society.
